Chasing Pavements by Adele, Love Story by Taylor Swift and Come as You Are by Nirvana are just a selection of the new songs now available for Rock & Pop exams as sheet music and audio download bundles.
Ten alternative songs have now been released on exam board Trinity College London’s Rock & Pop online shop with additional download bundles to be added regularly going forward.
Each download bundle includes sheet music and a backing and demo track, information about the song and performance hints and tips, to help students taking Trinity’s Rock & Pop exams to perform at their best.
For Vocals, new Technical Focus songs will be added regularly to offer candidates taking exams from Initial to Grade 3 more choice and flexibility. There is already a choice of two keys for each Vocals song in the syllabus up to Grade 5.
In addition to the new alternative song download bundles, Trinity has added 46 new demo videos to their website and YouTube channel taking the total number of videos available to 80. The videos are for all instruments and look at songs from across the grades, and each demo video focuses on particular skills or techniques. All the demos are performed by a professional session musician, including Hannah Vasanth on Keyboards who has toured with Rihanna and Jessie J.
