Simon Cowell says things Demi Lovato would love to but "physically can't" because they are so rude.
The two stars sit on the judging panel of America's The X Factor together. Demi joined the show last year and is back for a second season in 2013, with Paulina Rubio and Kelly Rowland joining her and Simon this time around.
The music mogul is known for his acid tongue but Demi wasn't prepared for just how forthright he can be when they first started working together.
"Whatever he has to say, it's the honest truth. Sometimes I don't agree with him, but most of the time he says what I'm wanting to say but, like, I just physically can't because it's so mean!" she laughed to Heat magazine.
If Simon called some of Demi's choices into question she would definitely pay attention. She understands he has a lot of experience in the industry so is usually right, but still believes her opinion is just as valid.
"He knows what he's talking about, he knows that he's doing and he's gonna tell you straight up, whether you want to hear it or not," she said. "But then a percentage of my mind is gonna be like, 'Well, he also said that this person was really talented,' so it's the opinion of a guy who's very smart and who knows what he's going, but at the end of the day it's an opinion."
