Robbie Williams brought Capital FM’s Summertime Ball to a rocking close Sunday night.

The former Take That singer stormed the stage with a rendition of his 1998 single Let Me Entertain You.

The 80,000-strong crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium made it clear they loved the hit.

Over roaring cheers the star yelled, "Uncle Robbie's here!" and got on with the rest of the show.

MailOnline reports he then sang Candy and gave an emotional performance of Angels, which capped off the star-studded evening of shows.

Taylor Swift, will.i.am, The Wanted, Jessie J and Justin Timberlake were among other performers at the event.

Justin served as this year’s celebrity host but also treated the crowd to acoustic versions of Cry Me A River, Ain't No Sunshine, Heartbreak Hotel, What Goes Around and hits recent chart-topper, Mirrors.

Proceeds from the concert are donated to Capital FM’s children’s charity Help A Capital Child.

Robbie is meanwhile preparing to hit the road for his own European tour.

Take The Crown is scheduled to kick off in Dublin next week.

The English singer-songwriter will then travel to England and Scotland through the end of June before wrapping the series of dates in Antwerp on September 13.
