Ozzy Osbourne proves miracles do happen, according to his wife Sharon.

The X Factor judge thinks her husband’s recent turnaround with alcohol and drug addiction shows that there is hope for anyone.

The musician recently revealed that he was battling the problems again but had kept it secret for a year and a half.

“He's doing incredibly well. He is,” she revealed to USA Today. “Eighty plus days clean and sober. He's working his program rigidly. It's amazing to see how somebody in just over 80 days can change their life around.

“You know, miracles happen all the time and he has [gone from] hating himself, from a place of despair, to being a responsible husband and father again and it's amazing to see.”

The reality show parent is hopeful that by sharing his issues publicly, Ozzy will encourage others to seek professional help.

She thinks the rocker did a good thing by being open with the world and respects him for it.

“I'm very proud of him. He's a great example too for people,” she continued. “He's not the only person that suffers from addiction. Tomorrow's a new day and you start all over again.

“You just don't give up, it doesn't matter what you have, or your position in life, you still have those demons in you. This problem affects so many people. It doesn't matter what you have. It's the same battle for everyone.”

As she promoted her new children’s book titled Mama Hook Knows Best: A Pirate Parent's Favorite Fables, Sharon also admitted that their relationship is getting back on track.

They apparently had a brief separation while he was recovering but the pair has bonded through her kids’ novel.

“He's read it over and over because I keep reciting it to him,” she confessed. “All is good with us.”
