Sharon Osbourne has reportedly agreed a £1.5 million X Factor deal.

The Mirror reports that the outspoken star will return to the UK show’s judging panel after a six year absence.

She is set to replace outgoing judge Tulisa Contostavlos.

The newspaper claims that Sharon, 60, has finally agreed terms with the ITV show and bosses have drawn up a statement confirming her reappointment.

“Sharon and TV bosses feel there is very much unfinished business following her first stint on the show – and are delighted that she has agreed to return,” a source said.

“It was never about the money for Sharon. She genuinely loves the programme and considers her previous time on the panel as being a very fulfilling time in her life.”

Sharon appeared as a UK X Factor judge from 2004 to 2007, but left after feuding with fellow judge Dannii Minogue.

Nicole Scherzinger, 34, Gary Barlow, 42, and Louis Walsh, 61, are all expected to return to the panel alongside Sharon.

“It’s exciting times. Simon is over the moon that she’s signing up. He thinks she will be a revelation second time around,” the source revealed.

“Simon knows that Sharon ruffles a fair few feathers – and he hopes deep down that she will do the same on this year’s panel.”

The hefty pay packet may prove a welcome piece of news for Sharon amid reports her marriage to husband Ozzy Osbourne is in trouble.

Sharon, who has three children with the Black Sabbath rocker, has been living apart from Ozzy for several weeks.

“While a contract has not been signed, a deal has been agreed with Sharon,” an X Factor source said.
