Lil Wayne reveals he never gets symptoms before a seizure ensues.

The 30-year-old rapper has been hospitalised twice this year as a result of a series of uncontrollable convulsions.

On March 12 he was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for an episode where he stayed in the Intensive Care Unit for six days. He also visited Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the end of April, but was released after overnight observation.

Wayne suffers from epilepsy and the musician admits he doesn’t quite know how to cope with the condition.

"No warning, no nothing I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad. And the headaches? I didn't get no headaches or nothing," he told MTV News.

Wayne remembers nothing about the incidents.

He relies on his entourage to keep him informed of what really occurs during the episodes.

"I told them the other day, 'Y'all can tell me right now that y'all was lying', like 'You know what? We lyin' ain't nothin,' and I'd have to believe them because I don't know," he recalled. "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. I don't feel anything. I'm 100, I just hope it stops happening."

Wayne is committed to fostering his health.

The star will follow doctor’s orders to the letter.

"He didn't tell me to do too much that a human doesn't do anyway. Sleep and eat right, that's about it," he said.
