David Beckham apparently has Justin Bieber on his iPod.
The English soccer star is a self-confessed fan of Jay-Z, U2, Eminem and Bob Marley.
But now one of his teammates at Paris St-Germain has revealed the athlete also appears to enjoy jamming to hits by the Baby singer and other pop stars.
David’s PSG teammate, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, told UK newspaper The Sun he was stunned when he discovered what was on his pal’s iPod.
“We were looking through his play-list in the dressing room - there was lots of Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez,” he said.
Zlatan admits he was taken aback. But the discovery was a welcome one.
“We were expecting some cool English rock bands and hip-hop,” he continued, musing, “It is nice to know that even David Beckham doesn’t have good taste on everything.”
David has four children with wife Victoria. Sons Brooklyn and Romeo are both 14 while Cruz is eight. The couple’s daughter, Harper, will turn two this summer.
The athlete has yet to respond publicly to Zlatan’s claims about his musical preferences.
