Jennifer Lopez “freaked out” when her son had to have stitches.
The actress-and-singer was shocked and filled with emotion when her little boy Max was hospitalised due to an accident.
The star panicked when she saw the five-year-old she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony experiencing discomfort.
"I hear that all little boys have a scar on their chin," she told People Magazine "Of course, I was freaking out.
But Jennifer then realised that she was reacting in a way worse than her son.
After seeing that the victim was fine she relaxed and accepted his injury.
“But he was fine,” she added. “He said it tickled."
At some point every mother has to panic just a little.
Her son, who she calls “The Boss," is apparently recovering by spending time with his performer father and twin sister Emme.
Jennifer and her backing dancer boyfriend Casper Smart spent time in Las Vegas for the grand opening of Hakkasan nightclub inside the MGM Grand.
Other guests included Vanessa Hudgens and Cheryl Burke at the bash where Calvin Harris provided music.
"It's a little night off from being a mom and that's exciting," she said. "It's nice to have a little down time."
