Nick Jonas claims there is a certain creative “mutual understanding” in celebrity relationships.

The youngest of the Jonas Brothers is believed to have penned a new track named Wedding Bells about his ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus’ upcoming nuptials to fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

Nick asserts that all entertainers can expect to have their experiences recorded in a song.

"You deal with other artists too, and when that's the situation, there's a mutual understanding that it's your way of expressing yourself," he told MTV News during the Jonas Brothers: Live From MTV special. "So it's necessary for you to talk about these things and they kind of have to know when they get involved, that's a possibility."

The band of siblings, which also includes Kevin and Joe, explore more complicated subjects on their forthcoming release than they did in their Disney beginnings.

They ended a contract with Hollywood Records in 2012 and found the move “freeing”.

"I think it's our best record yet," Nick said. "Once people dive into more of the record and read about what we are talking about and sort of... our whole approach is not to lay it all out and just say who this is about and what it's about or this and that its more about saying it in a way that still gives us our privacy and being more subliminal about it so they can figure it out."

The group is hoping to put out a new single from their fifth LP in advance of their Jonas Brothers Live Tour in July.
