The Wanted's Nathan Sykes has left hospital after an emergency operation on his vocal cords.
The boyband member was forced to take a temporary hiatus after it emerged he was suffering from a "haemorrhaging nodule", which left him unable to sing.
Today the 20-year-old was snapped after the procedure and gave a thumbs-up, indicating everything seems to have gone well.
In the picture he looks slightly pale, but puts on a brave face for the paparazzi.
Even with the operation a success, Nathan will not be able to speak for a month, making it impossible for him to carry on with his band commitments.
The star's bandmates Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker have a world tour planned later this year and are also working on a new album.
The Wanted will have to go ahead without Nathan.
"It came as a shock to the boys, and they want to get behind him as much as possible and help speed his recovery. They're staying positive for him," a source told British newspaper the Daily Mail.
"The rest of the band will go on as they have so many worldwide commitments they have to carry on."
Since returning from hospital, it seems the singer is putting his feet up and getting some much-needed rest.
Taking to Twitter, the star proved he may have lost his voice, but his sense of humour is still intact.
"In bed watching Hot Fuzz! (For those who don’t know, it’s an “action/comedy”, not something your dad watches when your mum’s asleep) (sic)," he wrote.
Nathan showed some anxiety before the procedure, tweeting about how "gutted" he was and confessing to suffering bouts of insomnia.
The heartthrob even worried his time in hospital might ruin his relationship with his pet, after being forced to stay in Los Angeles for the operation, rather than returning home to the UK.
"My cat isn’t even gonna remember who I am when I get home … sad times. (sic)" he sadly posted.
Nathan's ailment coincided with his 20th birthday last week and his recent split from British singer Dionne Bromfield.
