Kim Kardashian will "definitely need some advice" if she wants to move to Paris, it has been claimed.

The reality TV star and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West are expecting their first baby together, believed to be a girl, who is due in July.

Kanye has been working on his new record and fashion line in Paris recently and it's been widely reported the couple are considering moving to the French city. While there recently Kim apparently scouted maternity hospitals, with the country's tough paparazzi laws said to be one of the reasons she might relocate.

However, celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch is unsure she will find the city easy to settle in to. He has worked with Salma Hayek and Halle Berry, who both spend a lot of time in France.

"They’re definitely going to need some advice, especially Kim," he warned New York Daily News.

"The difference between Kim and Halle and Salma is, Salma is married to a Frenchman and Halle is dating someone who’s French. Kim just wants to keep up with Les Joneses."

Kim's pregnancy style has been called into question regularly, with her penchant for form-fitting dresses not deemed suitable for her changing body by many.

The French Institute Alliance Française is an organisation which tries to promote the country's culture and get its citizens interacting with Americans. Its membership director has also dished out some advice for Kim should she take the plunge.

"We do a lot of walking in Paris, and since she won’t be able to park her big car near her house, she’s not going to be able to get around in those high heels," Céline Mazières said. "I recommend ballet flats."

Phillip has also been thinking about some women Kim could make friends with. He believes finding a home in the French capital could be the start of a whole new way of life for the 32-year-old star.

"Marion Cotillard has been on the cover of American Vogue, which Kim has always wanted,” he mused. “Carla Bruni [wife of former President of the French Republic Nicolas Sarkozy] would be great too, but to interest Kim, she’ll need a more impressive husband than an ex-president."
