Miley Cyrus puts “a lot of booty action” into her “twerking” technique.
The 20-year-old actress posted a video on Facebook March 20 in which she was performing the dance in a unicorn one-piece.
Apparently Miley’s fans have been heaping praise on the star for her twerking abilities.
"I haven't really seen one bad comment about my twerk video," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.
"This is the first thing! I can't sing, I can't act, I'm dumb, I'm a hillbilly, but I can twerk, so whatever! You can't really explain it. It's something that comes naturally...it's a lot of booty action.
"[I’ve] been practicing [twerking] probably for the past two years. I can't believe how many people think I'm good at twerking -- which is dope -- like my life goal has been accomplished. I thought it was so weird, and [I thought] people were going to think it was so weird, but I'm glad that everyone understands my humour."
Miley will release her new album Danger Zone this year.
She is particularly excited about her single with rapper Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg.
"I did a song with Snoop, and it's coming out very, very soon. Very soon," she shared. "[It's] recorded, done, and I'm, like, so excited about it.”
Miley hopes fans will also respond favourably to all of the music on Danger Zone.
The star pursued sounds she has always wanted to explore while penning songs for this album.
"I want this record to be, you know, just something that's, like, different and a bunch of, like, passion projects," Miley explained.
