Kiss paid a special tribute to murdered Mackay woman Shandee Blackburn at their final Australian show in Mackay on Saturday night.

Paul Stanley dedicated the 1980 Kiss hit ‘Shandi’ to Shandee who lost her life just one block from her home in Mackay last month.

“Before we go on I think everybody knows about a girl named Shandee Blackburn. We lost her. We wished she could be here with us. So we’d like to sing a little something for her, all of us”.

Shandee’s mother Vicki was at the show and had put in a request for the song to be played for her daughter who was named after the Kiss song.
