Taylor Swift has allegedly been indulging in late night phone calls with British singer-songwriter Tom Odell.
The 23-year-old US singer reportedly got together with her new beau after the BRIT Awards ceremony in London in February.
At the awards, Taylor put on a raunchy performance on stage and during the night's events Tom received the Critics' Choice Award.
The pair were also seen enjoying each other's company on a date in East London following their first meeting.
Since then, Taylor's work commitments have meant she has been parted from Tom, although she has kept the flame alive through regular contact.
"Taylor's been texting Tom constantly and sending him pictures of herself," a friend told British magazine Grazia.
"She even asked him to speak to her mum. She thinks he's lovely so it's important her family like him too."
Taylor had a high-profile relationship with British boy band member Harry Styles from One Direction. Since their split, it has been reported that the superstar has set her eye on finding a replacement man from the UK.
An insider explained Taylor's chat-up line was to tell Tom he was "cute".
The young lovebirds have also begun following each other on Twitter since the BRIT Awards.
"As soon as Taylor laid eyes on Tom she liked him. After their date she had to fly home, but they've been in contact ever since," a friend continued.
