Cee Lo Green’s new lavish Las Vegas show is a personal “statement” of his 20 years in the music business.

The Grammy-winning R&B singer kicked off his Sin City concert series entitled Loberace this week at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Cee Lo hopes to wow audiences, as he has put a number of personal flairs into his performance.

“You’ll see the fashion statement, you’ll see the familiarity of different covers I’ve chosen,” he told Extra.

“I really want to introduce people to an 18-year career and a life’s work.”

Cee Lo reveals that although the production is out of this world, he made it a point to instill his authentic self into every element.

From costume to stage design, the crooner went all out to ensure the concert is visually stimulating.

“You can never do too much in Vegas. I have a few big pieces; the other things are still me,” Cee Lo explained.

“I wanted to do the things that are practical… all fly!”

Cee Lo is on a temporary hiatus from TV singing competition The Voice, where he mentored alongside Christina Aguilera and returning judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

The musician is very well connected in the entertainment industry and he hopes that some of his talented pals will join him onstage in Vegas.

“We were just talking about leaving an area where that can be interchangeable if Adam comes, or [P. Diddy],” Cee Lo said.

“I have so many different friends, we have to be prepared in the event that someone wants to be a part of it.”
Loberace takes place on Wednesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through April 13.
