Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum superstar, entrepreneur, actor, and philanthropist, NELLY makes his very welcome return with the release on April 15th of his brand new single “Hey Porsche".
The single, a runaway success in the US and firmly entrenched in the Top 10 of the iTunes Chart, incredibly marks NELLY’s 22nd charted Top 40 song, which makes him tied for 11th most charted Top 40 hits artist of all-time.
"Hey Porsche" shows yet another different side to this rap superstar’s ability to deftly cross into pop territory.
Dominating the charts since his stunning debut “Country Grammar” back the summer of 2000, (the album of the same name has gone on to sell almost 11 million copies in the US alone) Nelly has enjoyed a steady stream of classic hip hop hits including "Ride Wit Me", “Dilemma” and of course "Hot in Herre".
“Hey Porsche” also heralds the arrival of Nelly’s seventh full-length album, M.O., which will be released later this year. For the album, St Louis’s finest has teamed up with production powerhouses such as Pharrell (Jay Z, Snoop, Justin Timberlake), Rico Love (Beyonce, Usher), DJ Frank E (Kanye West, Enrique Iglesias, FloRida), Detail (Lil Wayne, T-Pain), Da Internz (Rihanna, Nas), and Bei-Major.
In addition he invited some of his closest friends and today's hottest artists to collaborate including Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz, T.I., Akon, Pitbull, and Florida Georgia Line.
