Currently racing round the UK on their first headlining tour since November 2011, THE DARKNESS have issued forth a video for the track ‘With A Woman’, taken from their top 5 album ‘Hot Cakes’ (released last August).
The clip is a prequel (if you will) to the band’s previous video, ‘Everybody Have A Good Time’, which was a cautionary tale of global economics, corporate greed and the love between one man and his maths-genius bearfriend, so it stands to reason that 'With A Woman' is a high-school love story homage to the MTV videos of the '80s, which also unfolds the secrets origins of our ursine love-interest.
The band have been touring the world since August of last year, first with Lady Gaga and then their own US and European dates. The UK tour continues tonight in Newcastle, goes to Wolverhampton tomorrow and finishes with a Hammersmith Apollo show in London on Thursday 7th March 2013. The Darkness then carry on back to Europe before Australian and New Zealand shows later this spring.
