Eve denies she implied Britney Spears didn’t sing on will.i.am’s track Scream & Shout.

Britney and will.i.am collaborated on the pop tune and the Toxic singer mimics a British accent throughout.

Rapper Eve cast doubt that the pop star had recorded her voice on the song by recently saying on a talk show: “I heard that it might not be Britney.”

But Britney’s publicist Jeff Raymond has vehemently denied the claims, saying that these accusations are “absolute BS.”

Eve feels that she was misinterpreted.

"I didn't say anything about her singing,” the rapper told TMZ.

“I said something about her British accent. We know it's Britney Spears singing the song. I never said anything."

Eve made the controversial comments during an appearance on Bravo show Watch What Happens Live when host Andy Cohen asked her what she thought of the song.

"I heard that might not be Britney," Eve said.

"That's what I heard, but you know I don't know, it could be Britney. But I heard it wasn't."

Scream & Shout, described as a “dark club track” will feature on the Black Eyed Peas star’s new solo album #willpower.
