Rihanna has thanked her fans for their continued support after scooping an award at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

The pop beauty was nominated in two categories at the prestigious music event in Los Angeles - Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Short Form Music Video for We Found Love.

Rihanna picked up the accolade for the latter, and took to Twitter today to gush about the honour.

"That lucky #7 again! Thank you Navy, and congratulations! We got our 7th Grammy and Im so happy! Your support is everything to me (sic)," she wrote.

Rihanna - who performed a Bob Marley tribute alongside Bruno Mars and Sting at the ceremony - was accompanied to the Grammys by on-off boyfriend Chris Brown.

The pair made headlines on the eve of the 2009 awards ceremony when the R&B singer was charged with assault after attacking Rihanna.

Chris was also recently involved in a fight with Frank Ocean outside a recording studio in Los Angeles, and although no arrests were made after the brawl, Chris was largely blamed for the scuffle.

Chris has now come under fire for not standing to congratulate Frank when he was awarded the gong for Best Urban Contemporary Album award at the Grammys last night.

The controversial star - who was also named in the category - was clearly captured on camera sitting down while every other guest was on their feet.

Meanwhile, a picture has emerged of Chris and Adele in which the British songstress appears to be shouting at him.

The stars - who are both standing up in the photo - were sat in close proximity at the star-studded ceremony. The photo is believed to have been taken moments after Chris refused to stand for Frank. In the shot, Chris is seemingly holding his arms out in protest as Adele addresses him in what looks like a tense one-on-one.
