Lily Allen reportedly told pals having two children is “insane”.
The British singer gave birth to second daughter Marnie Rose last month, and also raises Ethel, who was born in November 2011. Lily decided to have a night out with pals at model Daisy Lowe’s birthday party recently, and although she loves being a mother – raising two kids is proving a challenge.
“Lily feels like she has been pregnant for three years, so she wanted to let her hair down,” a source told British magazine Closer. “She says having two babies is completely insane – she says she had no idea the sleepless nights would be so exhausting the second time around. She was feeling a little insecure about her post-baby figure, but she was excited about going out to party for a few hours.”
Lily has embraced motherhood since deciding to step out of the spotlight and focus on her life with husband Sam Cooper. The 27-year-old star is known for her quirky fashion sense and petite frame. It has been claimed Lily is looking forward to slipping back into her pre-pregnancy clothes once she has time to think about getting into shape.
“She says she is desperate to have a waist again,” the source added. “She joked that she wondered if she could ever go back to her old figure again… she’s glad she’s not leaving the house too much as she’s usually in her maternity gear.”
