A brand new Eminem album will be released around the middle of 2013.

Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg told Billboard magazine that the label is working on a number of albums including new 50 Cent, Yelawolf and label owner Eminem.

Eminem’s last album was ‘Hell: The Sequel’, released as Bad Meets Evil with Royce Da 5’9 in 2011. The last album released under the Eminem name as ‘Recovery’ in 2010. It featured ‘Won’t Back Down’ with Pink and ‘Love The Way You Lie’ with Rihanna.

The 41-year old rapper has been working on his eighth album since May, 2012 so this one will be 12 months in the making.

In June, 2012 Eminem created his own online radio station and announced that the “new material was taking shape”.

Eminem will headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August in the UK.
