One Direction’s Liam Payne sees his bandmates as “little brothers”.

Together with Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, Liam makes up one of the most popular boybands around.

The group is gearing up to release their first 3D film, which follows the lives of the fivesome and gives exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from their tours.

Today, a teaser clip was revealed, giving fans a glimpse of what’s in store.

“I always wanted a little brother – now I’ve got four of them,” 19-year-old Liam smiles in the video.

The short promo shows the boys messing around, play-fighting and performing on stage.

Despite being generally light-hearted, 19-year-old Zayn takes a moment to get reflective about the band’s situation.

“As a group we’re stronger than if there was five people by themselves,” he explains.

The dark-haired heartthrob has needed the support of his colleagues recently, following allegations made by an Australian waitress he had cheated on his singer girlfriend Perrie Edwards with her.

Despite the rumours, the couple seem to be working through it and have been spotted out and about together.

Yesterday the pair enjoyed a day out at the zoo, proving they were putting the infidelity scandal behind them.

“Had an amazing day today at @knowsleysafari It was such a good day out! @zaynmalik :) Perrie <3,” the purple-haired beauty posted on Twitter, with Zayn promptly retweeting her message.

Earlier this week, rumours surfaced Zayn was thinking about leaving the band due to the impact fame was having on his personal life. However, a spokesperson for One Direction has denied this is the case. "It’s completely untrue, Zayn isn’t leaving the band," the statement read.

The One Direction movie hits cinemas on August 30.
