Jessica Simpson and her best friend are “loving” being pregnant at the same time.
The 32-year-old star is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, while her pal CaCee Cobb is set to be a mom for the first time. CaCee married her long-term partner Donald Faison in December last year and he has revealed his wife is having a great time discussing babies with Jessica.
“Imagine if you and your best friend were pregnant at the same time – CaCee’s loving it,” Scrubs actor Donald told People. “They hang out all the time anyway, but now they hang out and talk baby stuff, look at baby stuff online, and go shopping for baby stuff together.”
Donald revealed CaCee is handling her first pregnancy “like a champ” despite battling morning sickness.
The 38-year-old actor also claimed CaCee – who is believed to be godmother to Jessica’s firstborn - is learning a lot from Jessica when it comes to expecting a baby.
“You think when you get pregnant, it’s going to be glitz and glamour and everything’s going to be wonderful, but they don’t tell you about the morning sickness, they don’t tell you about the constipation and being uncomfortable,” he explained.
Jessica already has a nine-month-old daughter called Maxwell and revealed her second pregnancy in December.
She recently admitted that she was “extremely shocked” when she discovered she was having another baby so soon after welcoming Maxwell into the world.
“You know, it was kind of like a one-night stand. And it happened, all over again!" Jessica joked.
