Adam Levine is elated to have his mother accompany him to the Grammy Awards this weekend.
The singer’s band Maroon 5 has been nominated in two categories at this year’s ceremony.
Single Adam would rather bring his family matriarch than a pretty date, as he believes she is fortunate for him.
“My mother [will be my date]. I love my mum,” he gushed to Extra.
“I’m excited to take her. When she came with me one year, we won, so I thought she was my good luck charm. She should come again.”
Maroon 5 is getting ready for their performance during the programme.
Adam is elated about the show, but won’t reveal details about on what the band will do onstage.
“Doing an amazing performance, which I kind of want to stay tight-lipped about,” he said.
“It's the Grammys! It's a big deal.”
Nicki Minaj, Foo Fighters, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars are also amongst the performers at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
The glamorous event will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday February 10.
