Kelly Clarkson says she is the “opposite” of a Bridezilla.

The singer is getting ready to marry her adoring fiancé, music manager Brandon Blackstock, later this year.

The 30-year-old explained one of the habits people find irritating about her is her inability to get excited about certain things, including wedding details.

"My biggest problem, if you work with me and what a lot of people will tell you, is that, it's not that I don't care, but I'm really nonchalant about a lot of things, like clothes or like weddings!" Kelly told People in a behind-the-scenes video to accompany her cover shoot with the publication. "I'm not the kind of girl to be a Bridezilla, I'm definitely not a Bridezilla, I'm the opposite of one."

Kelly explained more about her blasé attitude towards planning her big day. The superstar says the most important thing is that everyone has fun.

"I'll be like, 'Oh look the wedding cake has fallen off the porch, that's fine, it's still all cool.' Or I'll be like, 'Oh look something's on fire but hey, that's cool, whatever, we'll move it,’” Kelly continued. "I'm not that kind of girl I think that annoys people sometimes. I value the important things. I know we're going to have a fun wedding regardless of whether it rains or whatever."

Kelly insists that while she might not be worrying about cakes and dresses, she is still excited for her upcoming nuptials. She revealed that she never expected Brandon, 36, to propose to her and is eagerly awaiting her wedding day.

"The thing I'm most psyched about in 2013 is my wedding. I never thought I'd get married so it's kind of cool that I fell in love and am getting married," she gushed, before moaning about the planning of the day once more. "It's kind of a lot to plan though, oh yeah a lot if I'm honest with you."
