Janet Jackson is reportedly trying to have a baby with her fiancé.
The singer is engaged to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana, who she has been dating since 2009.
The pair is thought to be marrying within the next few months and 46-year-old Janet is apparently already making family plans.
The star apparently froze her eggs some time ago in case she ever wanted to have children and is now looking for a surrogate to help her dream come true.
“Janet’s the happiest she’s been in years and the one think that’s missing in her life is a baby,” an insider told National Enquirer.
“She’s thrilled she thought ahead and took necessary measures before it was too late.”
The happy couple is thought to have gotten engaged over Christmas, with Wissam presenting his girlfriend with a 15 carat ring. It was claimed she was so nervous about wearing the giant gem she kept it locked up initially.
They are now planning to say their vows in Qatar, although the intricacies of the ceremony remain unknown.
"He is flying in all of Janet's friends and family on private jets,” an insider previously said. "He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu."
