Lindsay Lohan is reportedly unfazed by Max George's admission they are just friends, as she is happy with their "no-strings-attached" agreement.
The pair have been spending increased amounts time together since the troubled actress went backstage at The Wanted's Jingle Ball concert in Philadelphia last month.
Lindsay recently posted a playful photo of her with the boy band hunk on her Instagram account, leading many to speculate about the nature of their relationship.
The picture caused Max's fans to lose their temper on Twitter, with Max responding to their angry posts, writing: "rumors ... That's all ... Like I said ... 1 million percent (sic)."
Lindsay is reportedly not offended by Max's reaction. TMZ have revealed the red-haired star is telling friends "she doesn't feel burned - because Max is telling the truth ... they aren't boyfriend and girlfriend ... they just have a no-strings-attached non-exclusive hook-up thing going on."
The US website also claims Lindsay isn't "taking things seriously" when it comes to Max and just finds hanging out with him fun.
It was reported at the end of last year that Max's bandmates - Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes - don’t want Lindsay around.
"Ever since Max and Lindsay started hooking up several weeks ago, his fellow band members have found the amount of unwanted attention the group has received horrifying,” a source revealed. “They have worked very hard to get where they are, and yes, the boys do party, but Lindsay brings all of her nonsense and drama."
