Selena Gomez has apparently “sworn off” men.
The pretty pop star had a famously tumultuous relationship with teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber.
Following their split around New Year’s Eve, the 20-year-old is now allegedly giving all males the cold shoulder.
“Selena has sworn off men for the time being,” a source told RadarOnline.
“She just wants to be free to do what she wants to do and not have to worry about anyone else but herself. It’s been a while since she’s been able to do that.”
The former Disney star started dating Justin in 2011, but their relationship hit a rocky patch towards the end of last year.
Since calling time on their romance, Selena has been spotted out with her girl friends.
Most recently she attended a Golden Globe Awards after-party with famous pals Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens.
“For now, she wants to go out with her girlfriends or have slumber parties at her home without being committed and in a relationship with a boy,” the insider continued.
“Her relationship with Justin was up and down, and she could just do without the drama of it all. Besides, she has her new movie Spring Breakers to promote and is going to be too busy with that to even have time for anybody else.”
Selena and Vanessa both star in the comedy drama about a group of girls who run into trouble during their vacation.
Meanwhile, Justin has hit headlines for controversial reasons.
Recently, a picture emerged which seemed to show the 18-year-old smoking cannabis in a hotel room.
