Dave Grohl readies Foo Fighters, Nirvana and Rick Springfield line-up

Dave Grohl is plotting another Nirvana reunion and Foo Fighters will be there and Rick Springfield, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty will be there too.

Billed as Sound City Players, the show is scheduled for January 18 in Salt Lake City.

The poster for the line-up also includes Rami Jaffee of The Wallflowers, Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine, Rick Neilsen of Cheap Trick, producer Chris Goss, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear of Nirvana and Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett.

The concert will be part of the Sundance City Film Festival in Utah and launch Grohl’s movie Sound City. The soundtrack will be released on March 12.

Grohl will also be a keynote speaker at SXSW in Austin in March.
