Taylor Swift and Harry Styles have reportedly split.
The One Direction singer and the country music darling have been dating for several months and it was thought their romance was getting serious.
The couple rang in 2013 together and were seen kissing as the ball dropped in New York City's Times Square. But new reports suggest Taylor, 23, and Harry, 18, have called it quits.
According to MailOnline.com, the couple traveled to the British Virgin Islands on New Year’s Day for a romantic getaway.
Taylor was seen flying back to the states solo on January 4 and a source told the website she decided to leave early after having a huge fight with the singer.
“Yes I can confirm they have split up. They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future,” the insider said.
Taylor and Harry were first linked early last year and then reunited after Taylor's split from Conor Kennedy.
Taylor has dated a string of high-profile stars, and is known for writing songs about her failed relationships. She has also been linked to John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
Harry may not have much time to think about the reported split.
One Direction have a busy year ahead of them. They are going on tour later this year and are gearing up to promote the video for their new single Kiss You.
