Rita Ora has made a vow to "think positive".

The start of a New Year has always been a time to turn over a new leaf and it seems the 22-year-old is following suit.

The last 12 months have been filled with ups and downs for the singer, but Rita is determined to look on the bright side.

"Think positive, put it in your universe one day it will find u come to u and bite u (in a good way).....#inspire it will happen. #takeoff (sic)," she posted on Twitter.

Rita had a turbulent start to 2013, when a British reality TV star accused her of having an affair with Beyoncé Knowles' husband Jay-Z earlier this week.

Holly Hagan tweeted the rumours on Wednesday, defending herself by saying she had heard them elsewhere.

Rita responded angrily, taking to the social networking site to vent her frustration at the allegations.

"Neva eva will any1 includin a red head dum z listin attention seekin w***e try talk sh*t about me& my family holly wateva da f*k ur name is (sic)," she retaliated.

The comments follow Rita's messy and very public break-up from Rob Kardashian at the end of last year.

The sock designer took to Twitter to slam Rita for apparently cheating on him with more than 20 men.

At the time, the Shine Ya Light singer refrained to comment, but she alluded to the online spat with a further tweet aimed at Holly.

"I stayed silent on one bulls**t rumour but this one I have to speak," she wrote.

The star deleted her posts shortly after.
