Britney Spears’ milieu is reportedly terrified of another impending breakdown.
In 2007 Britney’s divorce from Kevin Federline, the father of her two sons Sean Preston, seven, and Jayden, six, was finalised.
A year later the 31-year-old singer suffered a very public mental collapse in 2008 and is currently under court-ordered conservatorship overseen by her father Jamie, her fiancé Jason Trawick and others.
Britney and Jason are apparently on the verge of splitting at the moment and loved ones don’t want her emotional troubles to trigger a relapse.
“They’ve told friends they want to end the relationship,” a source told In Touch magazine.
“[They have] zero emotional connection. Britney is going to return the bands. This could mark the end of a very fragile relationship.
“Everyone is trying their best to keep grounded, but they’re scared it could happen again.”
People close to Britney don’t believe she is looking her best at the moment.
Apparently the star appears disheveled.
“She was so different, strange new bangs,” the insider said.
“She just didn’t seem pulled together.”
There is speculation that Britney won’t be asked to return to US The X Factor’s judging panel next season. Insiders claim that producers and X Factor head boss Simon Cowell don’t feel as though she has earned her $15 million contract due to her lacklustre performance.
