Juliette Lewis hopes that women wear more clothes in 2013.

The singer-and-actress has been sharing her thoughts on the coming year as 2012 draws to a close. Juliette had a number of music and style-related ideas on how to make the world a better place.

She took to her Twitter account today to urge provocative females to dress more appropriately.

“I hope in 2013 women put more clothes on and wear less make up. Just a thought. #unique (sic),” Juliette wrote.

The 39-year-old star then turned her attentions to pop stars.

Juliette is known for being passionate about rock music, as she was frontwoman for American band Juliette and the Licks and has enjoyed a solo career.

Another of Juliette’s dreams is that pop music becomes less raunchy next year.

“I hope in 2013 pop music has something else to say besides ‘bottles in the club..’ ‘..shake that ass’ ‘sex.. I like the smell of it’,” she tweeted. “I must say its reassurring to see The Black Keys and Jack White up for Grammys. Yay.#Rocknrollisnotdead (sic).”

Juliette also had harsh words for reality television. She clearly isn’t a fan of the genre, as she confessed that she hopes such shows “stop” in 2013.

The star revealed one of her New Year’s resolutions is to be more sociable.

Juliette plans to spend more quality time with her loved ones, rather than rely on technology to keep in touch.

“#Ihopein2013 people meet in person more than text (sic),” she explained.
