Jessica Simpson will continue to serve as a spokesperson for Weight Watchers through her second pregnancy.
The singer-and-actress famously packed on 70lbs while she was expecting her daughter Maxwell, who was born in May.
Jessica revealed on Christmas Day she is pregnant with her second child with former American footballer Eric Johnson, after using the Weight Watchers program to slim down.
The 32-year-old star tweeted a photo of Maxwell sitting in the sand with the words “Big Sis” written below.
Reports suggested Weight Watchers bosses were furious after the singer signed an estimated $3 million deal to stick with the programme and be the face of the company earlier this year.
Weight Watchers announced on Wednesday it will continue to run ads of her 50lb weight loss, including a newly-released 30-second clip in which she announces her pregnancy.
“There have been no changes to our business agreement with Jessica,” a spokesperson told ABCNews.com.
The singer will not stick with her diet while she is expecting.
“[Jessica] will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy,” the statement continued.
Weight Watchers executives said Jessica will resume the diet after she gives birth.
Her ads are scheduled to air in the US through the winter.
