Britney Spears is reportedly “making up for lost time” in her relationship with her family.
The 31-year-old pop singer is engaged to agent Jason Trawick and is mother to sons Sean Preston, seven, and Jayden, six, from a previous relationship.
Britney suffered a very public mental breakdown in 2008 and is currently under court-ordered conservatorship overseen by her father Jamie, Jason and others.
Britney will commit herself to family in the New Year.
“It seemed they were fighting almost constantly, but they have weathered the storm and are really enjoying each over,” a source told the US edition of OK! magazine.
“The year 2013 is going to be all about family for her: She wants to marry Jason, get pregnant, and really focus on being the best mom she can be to Sean and Jayden by making up for lost time.”
Apparently Britney hasn’t been this content in a while.
“This last year was the first year Britney truly felt healthy and happy in a long time,” the insider said.
“Her relationship with Jason is the first truly mature relationship she’s ever had, and she wants it to last forever.”
