John Mayer wants you to make the music video for his new song ‘Something Like Olivia’.

Mayer is offering $5000 through Genero.tv to the amateur film-maker who comes up with the video he likes best

John Mayer fans have until January 5, 2013 to get their video in to be considered for the official John Mayer ‘Something Like Olivia’ clip.

‘Something Like Olivia’ is track 5 from Mayer’s most recent ‘Born and Raised’ album. John was meant to spend most of 2012 promoting the album but was diagnosed with throat granuloma and had to cancel live performances including his ‘Born and Raised’ launch at SXSW earlier this year.

The winning video will be selected by John Mayer and Genero.tv.
