Rihanna is reportedly planning on spending Christmas in her native Barbados with on-again boyfriend Chris Brown.
The 24-year-old singer is treating Chris to a rented $14 million six star apartment close to the luxury Sandy Lane resort, according to British newspaper The Mirror.
Rihanna is “determined to ensure Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran is firmly out of the picture,” the newspaper reports.
“The setting is spectacular. When Rihanna clapped eyes on it over the summer, she just knew it would be the perfect getaway for the couple to make a real go of things,” a source told the publication.
"But he has still been spending time with his ex, which really annoys her.”
Chris, 23, split from the model earlier this year, and the insider said Rihanna wants him to “cut all ties” with her.
The luxury 10,000sqft mansion boasts five en-suite bedrooms and 14ft ceilings with the rooms featuring biometric security and their own elevators.
However, the couple may not get as far as the tropical paradise, with reports on Tuesday suggesting they may have again broken up.
Rihanna posted a picture on Twitter of an ‘R card’ which read: “Being single sucks. The only thing I get to do anymore is whatever the f**k I want to do.”
