Hove Festival and Festival Republic are happy to announce Kings of Leon as headliner for the Norwegian festival Hove.

After a two year hiatus, Kings of Leon will make their long awaited return to Europe next summer and will perform at Tromøya, Norway on Tuesday 2nd of July. Kings of Leon have over the last ten years become one of the world's most popular rock acts and the concert will be their first performance in Norway in a decade.

Says Toffen Gunnufsen, head booker at Hove:

– We are very pleased to finally being able to bring back Kings of Leon to Norway and Hove. The band ranks on top of our audience's wish lists and we know they have a big and devoted following in Norway. This has been one of our goals since we started up the festival seven years ago, and we are of course very pleased that Kings of Leon could fit us into their tour schedule.

Kings of Leon, consisting of brothers Jared, Caleb, Nathan and cousin Matthew Followill, have over the last decade developed into one of the biggest-selling acts in modern rock receiving multiple Grammy and Brit Awards. After a two year hiatus Kings of Leon have confirmed that they now are working on new material for their sixth album.
