Courteeners unveil the video for new single Lose Control released on 28th January through V2. The single is succeeded by the release of the bands third studio album ‘ANNA’ out 4th February.
Shot and directed by Joe Connor, the video captures the band performing against a series of projected images against the backdrop of a Manchester warehouse. The video, as with the Courteeners Lose Control [teaser] released last month, will be unveiled across the bands twitter and website at 12pm (GMT) today. (14th December 2012)
It has been two years since Courteeners last album ‘Falcon’, which charted at #6 and followed the bands #4 debut album ‘St. Jude’. The band have been working hard at Manchester’s 80 Hertz Studios with producer Joe Cross (Hurts) and songwriter and frontman Liam Fray says, “ANNA is a new chapter sonically for Courteeners. Our music, like our minds, has evolved and expanded. We have re-arrived - Welcome to the rave”.
To coincide with the release of ‘ANNA’ Courteeners have announced an 18-date UK tour for February and March 2013, which will be their biggest UK tour yet culminating with a headline show at O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday 16th March.
Courteeners will be performing as part of XFM’s Winter Wonderland at O2 Academy Brixton on 17th December. Full February and March tour dates are as follows –
