Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are reportedly planning a "surprise wedding".
The 32-year-old singer and her fiancé have apparently invited a group of close friends and family along with them on their trip to Hawaii at the end of the year.
It is rumoured the couple are planning to announce a surprise to their assembled holiday guests, with a wedding looking to be the revelation in question.
“For the holidays Jessica and Eric are going to Hawaii and they’ve invited a lot of their close friends and family,” a source told RadarOnline.
“No one quite knows what is being planned, but family members are speculating that they could be planning a surprise wedding."
Jessica and 33-year-old former NFL star Eric announced their engagement in November 2010. The couple already have one child together with another baby allegedly on the way. The source claims the rumoured new baby news is the reason they've hurried their wedding date along.
"Jessica and Eric had planned to get married before the end of the year, but because Jessica was helping her best pal Cacee with her wedding she got sidetracked. Then... she discovered she was expecting," the insider explained.
“Jessica is certain though that she wants to get married before her baby is born, and isn’t bothered if she’s showing in any wedding pictures. She just wants a relaxed and intimate ceremony and has been dropping hints that the big day could be right before Christmas.”
