Chris Martin had to summon the fire brigade after trying to cook Gwyneth Paltrow dinner.
The Coldplay frontman has been married to the Hollywood actress for nine years and still tries to find ways to impress her.
Gwyneth loves food, so Chris decided to woo her by making her a beautiful dinner. The actress giggled that her husband's efforts didn't go quite to plan.
"He has twice cooked a meal and this is not a joke, both times the fire brigade came. I swear on my life - both times," she laughed on a UK TV show.
The London Fire Brigade apparently became concerned about the couple, so offered them a safety visit. These are staged to show people how to avoid setting light to their kitchens while conjuring up meals for the family.
"People often think that fires only happen to vulnerable people but young professionals have a quarter of all house fires in London," London Fire Brigade's Head of Operations, Prevention and Response Dave Brown said.
Gwyneth has been open about her culinary expertise in the past. She tends to make dinner for her family four or five nights a week and is renowned for certain dishes amongst her friends.
"I make a cioppino [fish stew] that people really like and ask for. My bruschetta is pretty expert at this point. I always have friends asking me to make that," she previously explained.
"Italian is probably my favourite food to cook. That and sort of simple American food. But you never get let down when you make Italian food."
