Courtney Love isn’t thrilled about Sir Paul McCartney performing with the surviving members of Nirvana.

Kurt Cobain’s widow was mortified to learn that the Beatle will be jamming at the 12.12.12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

This will be the first time that Dave and Krist have played onstage together in over 20 years following Kurt’s death in 1994.

Courtney tells TMZ that she is irate about the gig, mainly because she’s not too keen on Paul being the lead singer.

“[I’m] not amused,” she told the website.

"Look, if John [Lennon] were alive it would be cool."

According to TMZ, Courtney is also upset because she believes that Kurt was “the heart and soul” of the group and is absolutely irreplaceable.

Paul, Dave and Krist will be performing a song that they wrote together. It is unknown whether Paul will croon Nirvana tunes with the musicians.

Paul, Dave and Krist will be sharing the stage with Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and The Rolling Stones at Wednesday’s show, which will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
