EELS today reveal the video for “Peach Blossom”, a new song from their highly -anticapted upcoming album Wonderful, Glorious. Scroll down to view the video.
The video is directed by Los Angeles-based director and photographer Andrew Van Baal, known for his feature documentary Largo which premiered at the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival and featured artists such as Fiona Apple, Louis CK, Aimee Mann and Sarah Silverman.
To celebrate the release of Wonderful, Glorious, out February 4th on E Works/Vagrant Records, EELS will embark on a world tour kicking off on February 14th in the U.S before taking in Canada, the U.K. and Europe. The UK leg of the tour starts on March 14th in Belfast before it heads to Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Bournemouth, Brighton, Norwich, Nottingham and Bristol, finishing up at O2 Academy Birmingham on 30th March. The band, which features guitarists The Chet and P-Boo, bass player Koool G Murder and drummer Knuckles, all had a hand in the writing of Wonderful, Glorious. “The only rule I had was ‘let’s try it,’” says Everett. “If anyone in the room had an idea, I’d say ‘let’s try it.’”
