WATCHET LIVE FESTIVAL, West Somerset’s largest outdoor music event, have announced the first headline acts for its seventh successive year.

With their Teddy Boy style and their incredible back catalogue of twenty three Top 40 hits, Showaddywaddy are the perfect band to headline the ‘retro’ Friday night at Watchet Festival. The Hoosiers will bring their infections, sing-along pop rock to Saturday’s proceedings, and Dreadzone’s hugely popular dub-reggae show will close the festival in style.

Other acts confirmed to perform include Shoot The Moon, Company B, Boot Hill All-Stars, The Rocker Covers, Subgiant, Nameless Girl, Ten Pound Suit Band and RSVP. Many more acts, including three more main stage headline bands and the festival’s special guest, are yet to be announced.

Watchet LIVE is a not-for-profit family-friendly festival with amazing views of the stunning West Somerset coastline and beyond. Three live stages, including the famous Croissant Neuf solar powered venue host more than 50 live acts, bringing a wide range of high-calibre musical acts not normally found performing in West Somerset, at a very affordable price.

In addition, an Open Mic venue, the infamous Something Else Tea Tent, a Silent Disco, The Griffin Tent featuring dance workshops and a large Festival Market ensure there really is something for everyone. There are also all the usual festival amenities you would expect: a large campsite with a reserved families-only zone; secure on site car parking; an extensive Food Court, Real Ale and Cider Bar and free kids-zone
