Rod Stewart appeared on Monday morning’s Live With Kelly and Michael to announce his 2013 Live the Life Tour.
The trek will open in North America on April 19 with special guest Steve Winwood.
For an artist who has been active for over forty years, 2012 was a landmark with his second induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Faces, his book Rod: The Autobiography, the smash holiday album Merry Christmas, Baby, a tour with Stevie Nicks and his residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
At this point, the Stewart and Winwood tour has announced ten dates with more expected in the near future. Tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, December 8.
