Harry Styles is reportedly furious Taylor Swift has received death threats over their rumoured romance.
The One Direction singer and country music darling are rumoured to have rekindled their romance.
On Sunday, Harry and Taylor fuelled those rumours as they stepped out together for a stroll in New York City’s Central Park.
The British boyband is to perform at the city’s famed Madison Square Garden venue on Monday night.
It was earlier reported Harry had invited Taylor as his date to the show.
Sky News Australia reports he’s now asked singer to take the stage with him.
But according to the reports, Harry is reeling that Taylor continues to receive threatening messages from superfans.
A group calling themselves Directioners last month tweeted their fury about the rumoured relationship and threatened to “murder” the blonde.
"Harry is livid. He just wants to date who he wants without fans going into overdrive every time he's linked to someone,” a source told EntertainmentWise.com.
"He knows he gets a lot of attention from girls, but he's fed up,” the source added.
Harry and Taylor enjoyed a brief romance in April, but they split to pursue other affairs.
Harry dated model Emma Ostilly and Taylor had a summer romance with Conor Kennedy.
