Jonjo Kerr has announced plans to release ‘In My Dreams’, the song which he performed to great acclaim at the recent Festival Of Remembrance!

At the recent Festival of Remembrance concert, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London, 2011 X Factor Finalist Jonjo Kerr was honoured to represent his regiment when he performed at the event alongside the Military Wives. Their performance of the Paul Mealor composition, “In My Dreams” which features on the Military Wives new album Stronger Together, was specially adapted for the event and performed live in front of The Queen, members of her family and government ministers.

Due to the overwhelming feedback received since the performance, the Remembrance version will be released on download on December 3rd 2012. This moving and emotional track is performed from the soldier’s side, sending his love back home to his family, even though they are hundreds of miles away.
In just 12 months, Jonjo has gone from appearing on the X Factor to Afghanistan, only returning in September.

Jonjo said “This whole year has been a whirlwind and I am honoured to be a part of the track, In my Dreams, and having the opportunity to perform with the Military Wives”

Since it’s release was announced on Monday, seven stations around the country have already added the track to their playlist, with more set to follow.
