Katy Perry is reportedly not ready to "make nice" with Russell Brand in public.
The two stars split after a 14-month marriage last year and are now divorced. Although Katy has moved on and is dating John Mayer now, she apparently still dislikes seeing her former spouse in public. They both attended a basketball game in Los Angeles recently, which Katy was at with her father Keith.
"She's not ready to make nice in public. They are friends and talk on the phone now and then - but she still feels majorly let down by him. I think Katy was sorry she wasn't with John that night - but she was glad to have her dad for support," an insider told Heat magazine.
The singer didn't realise Russell was going to be at the game until she arrived. While her father took the time to say hello to the British comedian, Katy was apparently more concerned about looking nonchalant.
"Katy did her best to make sure that she looked happy, attractive and totally caught up in the game every time the camera was on her - but to say she felt awkward would be an understatement," the source added.
