Chris Brown believes he and Rihanna are “always going to be best of friends.”
Rihanna and Chris split after he assaulted her in 2009.
The pair fuelled rumours of reconciliation after he broke up with girlfriend Karrueche Tran last month.
Chris denies that he dumped Karrueche to rekindle his romance with Rihanna.
"No [we’re not together]. And that's just quick, a quick answer,” he revealed to Los Angeles radio station Power 106 Friday.
"With [calling it quits with Karrueche] it's just me being honest with myself. Me and [Rihanna] have history and me and her are definitely always going to be best of friends. And we're working on our friendship now.”
Chris is committed to full self-expression.
He admits that he has feelings for both women.
"As far as our personal life, I think people just got to give it a chance — or not even give it a chance, shut the hell up is basically what it is," he said.
"I'm not trying to rush into anything, put any rings on anybody's finger or lie to anybody. I just rather be completely honest, express my feelings."
Rihanna’s new album Unapologetic will feature a duet with Chris entitled Nobodies Business (sic).
