Lil Wayne may be a bad boy rapper but he still just wants to be with his mother when he’s ill.
The musician suffered “seizure-like” symptoms this week while mid-flight and has reportedly now been told by his doctors that she should refrain from air travel for a while.
The 30-year-old rapper, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was hospitalised in Texas following the first seizure and in Louisiana after the second health scare. His rep confirmed that Wayne was suffering from a migraine and severe dehydration.
TMZ reports that he had planned to leave Los Angeles on Friday but then rescheduled, and cancelled his flight plans again on Saturday.
The insider added that Wayne is not yet sure when he will leave town but has his loved ones around him at his mother’s house and has apparently been in very good spirits.
Wayne also missed a court date on Friday in his ongoing case against Quincy Jones III who he is suing over a documentary made about him.
The rapper’s attorneys will let the judge know his status on Monday.
